NewTab for LinkedIn does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Full stop.

What the extension does

It runs entirely in your browser, only on linkedin.com, to make a post’s timestamp open the post in a new tab. To do that it reads the public page you are already viewing and reuses LinkedIn’s own “Copy link to post” action to obtain the post’s URL.

Data collection

• No personal data is collected. No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, no remote servers.
• No data leaves your browser. It makes no network requests of its own.
• No accounts, no sign-in, no identifiers.
• Your clipboard is never modified. The copy action is intercepted internally to read the URL and is not written to your real clipboard.

Permissions

The extension requests no special permissions. It only runs its content script on LinkedIn pages (/feed/*, /in/*, /search/*).

Third parties

None. No data is sold or shared with anyone, because none is collected.
